Juan Benavides, PE, currently serves as a Project Engineer at BCC Engineering, a Parsons Company, since October 2025. Previously, Juan held the position of Project Engineer - Transportation at Dewberry from March 2018 to October 2025 and worked as a Design Engineer - Roadway at BCC Engineering Inc. from May 2016 to March 2018. Earlier experience includes a role as a Banquet Server at Rosen Shingle Creek from November 2012 to May 2016 and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Central Florida for a brief period in 2015. During the summer of 2015, Juan was a Civil Engineering Intern focused on Land Development at DR Horton. Juan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida, completing studies in 2016, and an Associate’s Degree in Pre-Major Architecture from Valencia College between 2010 and 2012.
