Walter Shepard is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consulting, consumer insights, and project management. Currently serving as Principal at BCE Consulting since August 2018, Walter is responsible for thought leadership, business development, and project delivery for diverse clients, ranging from multinational brands to emerging ventures. Previously, during tenure at L.L.Bean from September 2014 to August 2018, Walter held roles as Senior Manager of Consumer Insights and Targeting, and Manager of Consumer Insights, focusing on market research to identify new consumer segments. At The Beacon Group (July 2011 - August 2014), Walter managed projects and clients, delivering growth strategies for Fortune 500 companies across various sectors, and provided strategic insights for defense-related clients. Walter began a notable athletic career with US Biathlon from 2001 to 2010, representing the U.S. on four World Championship teams. Walter holds a BA in Economics and German from Bowdoin College and is an alumnus of the Sollefteå Skidgymnasium, Sweden's National Sports Academy.
