Clément OGA

Clément OGA, M.Sc, CFA, FRM, SCR, serves as the Head of the Banking Regulations Unit at BCEAO Headquarters, where they utilize over five years of experience in prudential regulation to design and monitor the prudential framework of the WAEMU banking industry. Previously, they worked as a Prudential Regulation Specialist at BCEAO, conducting comprehensive studies and formulating regulatory recommendations to ensure compliance with international standards. Clément also held roles as an Investment Officer, Market and Credit Risk Analyst, and Assistant Lecturer, demonstrating a strong background in finance and education. They earned a Master’s degree in Finance from Université Laval and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Université Canadienne des Arts, des Sciences et du Management.
