Ben Choy

Ben Choy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ben worked for BC Financial Services Authority as a Risk Analyst starting in November 2022. In June 2022, they took on the role of Podcast Host, Producer, and Editor for Witness the World Podcast. Prior to these roles, Ben served as the Manager of Lending and Wealth at V.P. Credit Union / VP Financial / Gulf & Fraser Fishermen's Credit Union from September 2017 to June 2022. In December 2016 to May 2017, they worked as the Manager of Customer Service and Sales at TD. Before that, Ben held various roles at Vancity, including Account Manager, Special Accounts Analyst, Senior Sales Agent, Financial Renewal Officer, and Member Service Specialist from 2003 to 2016.

Ben Choy started their education in 1997 at BC Open University, which is now known as Thompson Rivers University. Ben pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in the field of Business and completed their studies in 2000. Following this, Ben enrolled at British Columbia Institute of Technology and earned an Associate Certificate in Leadership from 2006 to 2007. In 2008, they returned to the same institute to pursue a Management Certificate in Broadcast Journalism, specializing in Broadcast Journalism, which they completed in 2009.
