David Weiss

David Weiss has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. David most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Services & Transformation at BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA) since August 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Vice President of Corporate Services at BCFSA from January 2017 to July 2021.

Before joining BCFSA, David worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia starting in September 2016.

From 2006 to 2015, they held various roles at TELUS Business Solutions, including VP Solutions Development and VP Solutions Development and Marketing. David also served as the Director of Business Development at TELUS Business Solutions from 2001 to 2006.

Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta from 1980 to 1985, specializing in Marketing as their major and Finance as their minor. Additionally, David participated in Executive Leadership Training at institutions such as INSEAD (France), Richard Ivey School of Business, and Rotman School of Management, although the specific dates are not provided.
