Jeff Meerman

Jeff Meerman is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Communications at BC Financial Services Authority since June 2025. Prior to this role, Jeff was the Director of Communications, Equity, and Partnerships at Vancouver Coastal Health from March 2020 to June 2025, where significant contributions included guiding communication strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic and leading a successful vaccination campaign. Previous leadership positions include Director of Public Affairs at Fraser Health Authority, Manager of Corporate & Public Affairs for TD Bank Group in the Pacific Region, and Associate Director of Communications for Bell, where Jeff managed communications for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Early career experience includes roles as a Communications Advisor at Alberta Health Services and a Communications Officer at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. Jeff holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Political Science from Carleton University and has completed studies at the Canadian Securities Institute.
