Urvish S.

Urvish S. has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 as a Student Ambassador at Middlesex University, where they worked with young people to raise aspirations and highlight the benefits of higher education. From 2011 to 2013, they served as a Guest Lecturer at Ahmedabad University, teaching economics and management. Following this, Urvish worked as an Ad Hoc Lecturer at H L College of Commerce, conducting sessions on Business Economics and managing the movie club.

In 2013, Urvish became an Analyst in Mergers and Acquisitions at S&P Global Intelligence (formerly known as SNL Financial), where they researched and analyzed business transactions. They then worked as an Associate in Corporate Finance at Kumar Marketing from 2014 to 2015, assisting with financial activities.

In 2016, Urvish took on multiple roles, serving as a Research Assistant at Vancouver Island University, supporting the Department of Economics, and as a Finance Executive at the MBA Games Organizing Committee.

From 2017 to 2020, Urvish worked as a Risk Management Advisor at PRA Canada, where they enhanced risk profiles for credit unions and supported regulatory requirements. They later transitioned to the BC Financial Services Authority and held positions as a Risk and Financial Analyst and a Senior Risk Analyst. In these roles, Urvish conducted risk assessments, led corporate governance reviews, supervised trust companies and insurance companies, and assessed risk management for credit unions.

Since 2018, Urvish has also been an Adjunct Faculty and Head Coach at University Canada West.

Urvish S. obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance, General from Vancouver Island University from 2016 to 2017. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in International Business Management from the University of Hertfordshire. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2010, Urvish completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Banking and Finance from Middlesex University. Urvish'sundergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Accounting, which they earned from H L Institute of Commerce from 2006 to 2009. Urvish completed their high school education at Hebron Higher Secondary School, specializing in Business/Commerce, General. In terms of additional certifications, they became a Chartered Financial Analyst - Level I Candidate from the CFA Institute in September 2016.
