Chris Somers

Chris Somers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information security and risk management. Currently serving as a Global Senior Director and Global IT Director at Boston Consulting Group since April 2018, Chris has previously held significant roles at Thomson Reuters from January 2008 to March 2018, including VP of Information Governance & Risk and VP of Head of IT Security Strategy & Governance. Earlier in the career, Chris worked at Reuters from September 1998 to December 2007 in various positions, such as Information Security Manager and Technical Project Manager. Chris holds an MSci in Physics from the University of Bristol and has completed professional development programs including the Front Line Leadership Program at the Professional Development Academy and the GIAC Penetration Tester certification from SANS Technology Institute.
