Frieder Knüpling

Frieder Knüpling is a seasoned professional in the field of actuarial science and risk management, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Boston Consulting Group since April 2025. Prior to this role, Frieder held various leadership positions at SCOR from 2006 to March 2025, including CEO of SCOR L&H, Group Chief Risk Officer, and Deputy CEO of SCOR Global Life. Earlier experience includes serving as Head of Corporate Actuarial at Revios Reinsurance and Gerling Global Reinsurance Co., among other actuarial roles. An academic background includes a PhD in Economics from The University of Freiburg and teaching positions in statistics, economics, and operations research. Frieder's extensive expertise spans over two decades in both theoretical and applied actuarial practices.
