Jade Checlair

Project Leader

Jade Checlair is an experienced consultant and researcher specializing in planetary and climate science. Jade held the position of Consultant at Boston Consulting Group from January 2022 to March 2024, focusing on Consumer & Retail and Nuclear Energy, and currently serves as a Project Leader at the same firm. Previous experience includes a role as a Research Fellow at the Earth-Life Science Institute, where Jade developed a predictive model for biosignature gases, and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto and Lecturer at the University of Chicago. As a PhD Candidate Research Scientist at the University of Chicago, Jade created statistical and analytical models to explore planetary habitability and climate behavior, contributing significantly to the field through eight published papers and several invited seminars. Early experience includes a Research Intern position at NASA Ames Research Center, where Jade developed models for exoplanet observations, and an internship at Bain & Company. Jade holds a Ph.D. in Planetary and Climate Science from the University of Chicago and an Honours Bachelor of Science with distinction in Physics from the University of Toronto.
