John Walch

John Walch is a Principal in Data Science at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where they have been contributing since 2023. Previously, John served in the Swiss Armed Forces, earning military distinction in hazard management, and worked as an Innovation Analyst at The Carbon Trust, developing energy optimization models. They also held positions at Hitachi as a Senior Consultant, contributing to predictive maintenance systems and AI applications. John holds an MSc in Advanced Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London and a BSc in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne.
