John Warrender

John Warrender is a seasoned energy industry executive with 40 years of strategic and operational leadership. They served as Executive Director and Executive Committee Chair at Repsol Sinopec Resources UK Limited from 2013 to 2017, and later became Chief Executive Officer of Decom North Sea from 2018 to 2020. Currently, John is a GlobalScot member, an Executive Advisor at Boston Consulting Group, and a Senior Energy Advisor at Meridian Resources Group Co. Ltd., where they focus on board governance, strategy development, and performance improvement. Throughout their career, John has also held various managerial roles in leading energy companies, including Sinopec International Petroleum Company and ConocoPhillips.
