Laura Sussman

Laura Sussman is an experienced professional in trade and manufacturing, currently serving as an Associate at Global Counsel since June 2022. Prior to this role, Sussman held positions at McLarty Associates, including Associate and Graduate Fellow in the Europe Practice from September 2020 to June 2022. Sussman's early career includes an internship at Siegel Strategies in 2020 and multiple writing roles at The Stanford Daily Newspaper from 2015 to 2019, where Sussman was a Senior Investigative Reporter. Additional experience includes serving as a Spring Intern at CNBC and as a Research Intern at Bruegel, focusing on economic policy within the European Union. Sussman also interned at The Sacramento Bee, covering a range of topics as a Staff Reporter. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in European History, Politics and Society from Columbia University and Bachelor's degrees in International Relations and French from Stanford University.
