Leon Ursem is currently an Associate at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) since January 2025. Prior to this role, Leon completed a Master of Science in Offshore and Dredging Engineering at TU Delft, following a Bachelor of Science in Applied Earth Sciences from the same institution. Relevant experiences include serving as a Graduate Intern at Heerema Marine Contractors, where analysis of soil behavior in offshore monopile installation was a focus, and as Chairman of Stud Academy at Stud Studentenuitzendbureau Delft B.V., organizing workshops and readings for students. Additional involvement at TU Delft includes working as a Student Assistant in Communication, facilitating outreach to high school students, and participating in a research project on mass turtle nesting events in Costa Rica. Leon also engaged with the Mijnbouwkundige Vereeniging, managing industry relations and organizing educational events, along with responsibilities in the board at DOT - Dispuut Offshore Technologie, where event planning and academic affairs were key duties.
