Michael Heimann

Michael Heimann is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the maritime and consulting sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at both Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping and Boston Consulting Group, Michael focuses on developing sustainable shipping solutions, including green shipping corridors and bio- and e-fuels. As the owner of Aeneid, expertise in sustainable green shipping fuels is utilized to navigate supply and demand dynamics. Prior to these roles, Michael held various leadership positions at A.P. Moller - Maersk, overseeing procurement, fleet optimization, and newbuilding initiatives, among other responsibilities. Michael's educational background includes a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Copenhagen and leadership programs at IMD.
