Olivier Rival

Olivier Rival is a Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) since May 2018, with a core focus on the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) practice, specializing in Telecommunication Networks and Digital infrastructures. Prior to this role, Olivier served as Partner, Principal, Project Leader, and Consultant at BCG from October 2012 to 2018, where significant contributions were made to telecommunications and insurance sectors in Europe and Asia, including merger support and transformation strategies. Earlier experience includes working as a Research Engineer at Bell Laboratories from October 2008 to September 2012, focusing on WDM optical networks and serving as the coordinator for the CELTIC project EO-Net. Olivier holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Oxford and a Master in Physics from École Polytechnique.
