They have amassed extensive project experience in pharmaceutical strategy, operations, and commercial topics, including improvements in cell therapy operations and mRNA manufacturing strategies. Previously, Rick served as a Fund Manager at BR Venture Fund, where they managed deal sourcing and due diligence, leading to a successful investment in an AI generative design startup. Rick's academic journey includes a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University, where they developed rapid diagnostics for tropical diseases, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University, graduating with honors.
