Simon Rees

Simon Rees is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy consulting and investment banking. Currently serving as Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) since October 2011, Simon leads strategy engagements for large global organizations, focusing on competitive advantage and value creation. Previous roles at BCG include Principal and Project Leader, with an emphasis on technology, industrial goods, and energy. Prior to BCG, Simon worked at Macquarie Group in the M&A division, handling major transactions in the infrastructure sector. Educational achievements include an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science. Simon’s early career involved roles as a Parliamentary Researcher in the UK’s House of Commons and as an intern lobbyist.
