Stefan Larsson

Stefan Larsson is a Senior Advisor specializing in Healthcare and Life Sciences, currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Karolinska Institutet. They completed their MD and Ph.D. studies at Karolinska Institutet and Harvard Medical School and later pursued postdoctoral research at the MRC Human Genetics Unit in Edinburgh. From 1996 to 2021, Stefan held various roles at The Boston Consulting Group, including Senior Partner and Managing Director, and led global health sectors focusing on value-based healthcare. They co-founded the International Consortium of Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) and currently chair its Board. In addition to their advisory roles, Stefan is a Distinguished Fellow at the World Economic Forum and author of over 25 articles in respected journals.
