Thomas Fry is a Principal at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where involvement includes being a core member of the Operations practice and previously the Technology Advantage practice since September 2019. Prior to BCG, Thomas served as a Project Leader and Consultant at A.T. Kearney, focusing on consulting projects in high-tech manufacturing, automotive, oil and gas, telecommunications, and the public sector from October 2017 to July 2019. Additionally, Thomas was a Principal at Cambridge Consultants from October 2014 to October 2017, leading innovation and technology projects in various fields. As a co-founder of Immaterial, Thomas contributed to developing market strategies and scaling up manufacturing for nanomaterials from October 2014 to February 2016. Earlier roles included a Contract Coordinator and various engineering positions at Fives, where responsibilities involved site planning and contract management for the Ma’aden Aluminium Smelter Project. Thomas holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, a B.Sc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, and completed high school at St John’s College.
