Tom Butler

Tom Butler is a Non-Executive Director and Independent Consultant with over 25 years of experience in emerging market investment, focusing on the infrastructure and mining sectors. They served as CEO of the International Council on Mining and Metals from 2015 to 2021, after holding various roles including Global Head of Mining at the International Finance Corporation from 1997 to 2015. Currently, they are involved in several part-time roles, including as an Independent Member of the ESG Committee at Infravia Critical Minerals Fund and as a member of the Leadership Council at RESOLVE, while also serving as a Parish Councillor. Tom holds degrees in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from INSEAD.
