Tom Hansen

Tom Hansen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in consulting, project management, and engineering. Currently serving as a Partner at Boston Consulting Group since September 2018, Tom has progressed through various roles, including Principal, Project Leader, and Consultant. Prior to this, Tom managed the Advanced Energy Centre at MaRS Discovery District for a brief period in 2018, focusing on consulting services for international utilities. Tom's background also includes managing remediation projects for Imperial Oil, overseeing over 100 abandoned sites and a substantial budget. An early career role as a Summer Student Engineer at Alberta WaterSMART involved modeling the impacts of oil sands water sourcing projects. Tom holds a Master of Business Administration from Ivey Business School, a Master’s in Environmental Engineering from the University of Calgary, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Ivey Business School, and a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering from Western University.
