Wade Barnes

Wade Barnes is a Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where they focus on energy, specializing in commodity trading, risk management, midstream oil and gas, renewables, and oilfield services. They have held various roles in the US Navy, supervising teams in advanced combat and engineering systems aboard Navy vessels from 2006 to 2007. Wade earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, an MPA in Energy Policy from Harvard University, and an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Prior to their current role at BCG, Wade served as a Partner from 2014 to 2022 and worked at Apex Clean Energy and Goldman Sachs.
