Yoichi Hangai

Yoichi Hangai is a Partner and Managing Director at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) since November 2015, having previously served as Principal. Prior experience includes roles as a Manager at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, where Yoichi Hangai managed Smart City projects and contributed to strategic planning in the Commercial Aviation and Transportation systems sectors. Prior to that, Yoichi Hangai held the position of Project Leader at BCG and served as Manager at Mitsubishi Hitachi Metals Machinery, Inc., as well as Acting Manager at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, specializing in mechanical engineering for Iron and Steel manufacturing. Yoichi Hangai holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on Solid Mechanics, from The University of Osaka, completed in 1996.
