Andrew Waters

Andrew Waters, CFA, is an experienced professional in private markets risk management with a robust background in financial consulting and investment analysis. Currently serving as Principal at BCI since February 2019, Andrew has previously held roles including Senior Associate and Contractor within the same department. Prior to BCI, Andrew operated as a self-employed financial consultant from February 2015 to January 2017, focusing on infrastructure and renewable energy projects. Andrew's earlier experience includes positions at BowMont Capital and Advisory Ltd., TransAlta Corp., and Peters & Co. Ltd., where responsibilities ranged from financial modeling and risk analysis to M&A transaction support. Andrew began a career in sales at Skyville Sports Marketing, establishing critical relationships for on-field advertising. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Finance from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Victoria.
