Richard Hou

Richard Hou, CFA, CPA, CA, currently serves as Senior Manager in Internal Audit for Capital Markets at BCI, a position held since May 2023. Prior to this role, Richard was Director of Internal Audit - Investment Risk Assurance at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) from January 2023 to May 2023, and held various positions at BCI, including Senior Manager and Internal Audit Manager in Capital Markets from August 2020 to January 2023. Richard's earlier experience includes serving as an Internal Auditor at the Alberta Teachers' Retirement Fund Board and as a Senior Staff Auditor at the Office of the Auditor General of Alberta. Richard obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from The University of British Columbia in 2013.
