Sameer Ismail is an experienced leader in non-profit management, strategic communications, and public policy. They served as the Chief Consultant at SIA Public Policy Consulting from 2008 to 2015, followed by a role as Government Relations Strategist with the BCIT Student Association from 2015 to 2018. Currently, Sameer is the Interim Executive Director at BCITSA and the President of Vancouver Friends for Life Society, while also working as a Senior Advisor in Strategic Policy. Sameer holds a BA in Political Science from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leicester.
