Christopher Ferrer

Christopher Ferrer is a seasoned database administration professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Database Administrator at BCLC since January 2023, Christopher previously held the same title at Manulife from 2014 to 2022, where notable contributions included leading the migration of an On-Prem SQL Farm to an Azure SQL Farm and developing automated monitoring scripts. Prior to that, Christopher worked as a DBA Technical Lead and SQL Server Database Administrator, focusing on proactive issue resolution and optimization of developer code. Earlier in the career, Christopher was a Technical QA Specialist at Airfreight 2100, Inc., and an Applications Consultant at United Laboratories, Inc., where responsibilities included quality assurance testing and providing business solutions for clients. Christopher is also pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from STI College.
