Ryan McCarthy

Director, Player Health at BCLC

Ryan McCarthy has a diverse work experience, holding various positions in different organizations. Ryan'smost recent role is as the Director of Player Health at BCLC, a position they have held since August 2022. Previously, they served as the Director of Knowledge Mobilization at the Can Centre on Substance Use and Addiction from November 2020 to September 2022. Ryan's career started as a Project Coordinator at the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association from 2004 to 2006.

Ryan McCarthy is currently pursuing an Executive MSc (Master of Science) in Health Economics, Policy, and Management from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Previously, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Saint Mary's University. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the same university, although the specific field of study is unknown.
