Shari Finlay

Shari Finlay began their work experience in 2008 as the Corporate Services Team Lead at BCLC. In this role, they led the Business Centre team in Kamloops and Vancouver, as well as worked with cafe and fleet vendors. Shari excelled in a collaborative and inclusive environment and was known for their honesty, trustworthiness, compassion, support, and ability to set boundaries. Additionally, in 2023, they became a Board Member President at the Canadian Mental Health Association Kamloops Branch.

Shari Finlay has a diverse education history that includes various certifications and a certificate from Simon Fraser University. In 2019, they completed a course in Organizational Leadership from LinkedIn. In 1992-1993, they attended Barkel Business School and obtained a Certificate in Business Administration and Management. Shari also holds a Certificate in Restorative Justice: Concepts, Theory, and Philosophy from Simon Fraser University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including Strategic Thinking, Giving and Receiving Feedback, and How to Use LinkedIn Learning.
