Christian Jaag is a founder and counsel with Swiss Economics, where they provide strategic and economic advice on competition, regulation and the economics of distributed ledger technology and its applications. They are a member of several boards, including MPower Ventures AG, CV VC, fam studio, Balim Investments, and they serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Bcomp Ltd. Jaag holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Finance (HSG) and were a visiting scholar at the economics department of Rutgers University. They are the author of numerous academic articles on public economics, regulatory economics, industrial organization, cryptoeconomics and law and economics. Earlier in their career they held leadership and academic roles, including Head of Regulation, PostMail at Swiss Post, Head of Regulatory Economics, Founder and Director of the Center for Cryptoeconomics, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Liechtensteinische Post AG, as well as lecturer positions at EPFL, the University of Zurich, and the University of St Gallen.
