Bertus (Herbert) Engelbrecht is the Acting Managing Executive of Cybersecurity at BCX, with over 25 years of experience in Information Technology, focusing on Information and Cyber Security, Governance, Risk, and Compliance. Previously, Bertus held roles such as Information Security Specialist at Symantec and Security Consultant at AVeS Cyber Security. At Business Connexion, they progressed from Information Security Officer to Information Security Manager, where they led security service functions for various clients. Bertus continues to serve as the Information Security Officer for AngloGold Ashanti, managing governance and compliance initiatives.
