Chris Bester is a seasoned Information Technology Governance, Risk & Compliance Specialist and Certified Auditor with over 30 years of international experience in corporate IT. Currently serving as a Consultant in Cyber Security Management & Governance at BCX since September 2017, Chris has also offered independent consulting services to AngloGold Ashanti. Previous roles include Service Delivery Director at HUAWEI IT and Head of Information Security at Injazat Data Systems, among others, where Chris led projects in information security and business continuity. Chris has a strong educational background with a Diploma in Information Technology from the University of Johannesburg and has successfully managed security and governance initiatives for numerous high-profile clients across various sectors.
