Ishalen Govender

Ishalen Govender has a diverse work experience in the technology and consulting industry. Ishalen is currently the Co-Founder and Director of Appzoft, a leading technology company that specializes in technology advisory and delivery services for digital transformation projects. Prior to this, they worked at BCX as a Delivery Lead, where they led large enterprise projects in systems integration, digital transformation, and innovation. Their role involved implementing technologies like RPA, chatbots, AI/machine learning, and digital platforms. Ishalen also played a role in driving the software engineering and integration strategy at BCX. Before joining BCX, Ishalen worked as a Director at iKlipse Growth Partners, a black empowered ICT and management consulting company. In this role, they focused on delivering robust products, services, and solutions that empowered and enabled organizations. Ishalen's early career was at Deloitte, where they worked as a Strategy and Innovation Consultant from 2007 to 2011.

Ishalen Govender completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Management, Information Systems, and Marketing from the University of KwaZulu-Natal between 2000 and 2003. Prior to that, they attended Isipingo Secondary School from 1995 to 1999. Ishalen has also obtained additional certifications in various fields, including Blockchain and Digital Currency, Digital Transformation, Project Management, User Experience Design, IBM Software and Solutions, and Secrets of the Universe.
