Lance Cloete is an experienced technical manager with a strong background in open systems, currently serving as the Open Systems Technical Manager at BCX since March 2010, specializing in AIX, Linux (RHEL and SUSE), and IBM-i. Previously, Lance held the position of Principal AIX Administrator at Woolworths from January 2005 to December 2009, and served as a Senior Oracle and Informix Database Administrator at BastianZA between January 2002 and December 2004. Lance began the professional journey as an Operational Assistant focusing on AIX. Lance also holds a Postgraduate Degree in Management of Digital Business from Wits Business School, completed between January 2021 and December 2022.
