Today, most malfunctions are detected only after having caused serious property and financial damages, and sometimes also bodily injuries. For instance, moisture and mold that are not discovered on time can spread also to the neighbors’ homes and cause extensive collateral damage.
Eeven in the rare cases in which malfunction detection solutions are installed, they provide a warning at a late stage when the damage is already done. This is because they lack the ability to identify the malfunction at its early stages. For example, till this day it has been difficult to identify a weak water leak (dripping water).
