Lauren Lomanto is an experienced professional in safety and compliance, currently serving as the Director of Safety & Compliance at BDA, LLC, since June 2022, following the acquisition of Idea Planet, where Lauren held the same title from August 2021. Prior to these roles, Lauren accumulated significant experience in safety project management as a Senior Project Manager and Project Manager at Intertek from May 2011 to August 2021, and worked as a Research Scientist and Child Development Specialist. Additional experience includes an internship at Advocate Health Care as part of the Healthy Steps For Young Children program and an earlier position as an Assistant Teacher at Hand in Hand Learning Land. Lauren holds a Master of Science in Child Development with an Infancy Specialization from the Erikson Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Human Development from DePaul University.
