Syed B.

Syed B. has a diverse work experience across a variety of industries. In 2019, they founded and served as CTO of BDATA, where they developed a simplified cyber security system for cloud and hardware. In 2020, Syed B. became a member of the Technical Committee 6: Connected Cities of the CIO Strategy Council | Conseil Stratégique des DPI and a Blockchain Technology Paper Reviewer / Editor for TechScience Press. Syed was also a client at MaRS Discovery District and Innovation Factory Hamilton in 2020. In 2021, Syed B. became a Member of the Industrial Cyber Warfare - NIIGBAD Working Group for NATO, a Member of the Technical Committee - Telecom Group for Hyperledger, and a Member of the OPC Foundation. In 2022, they became a Member of the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI) and a Board Member of the Cyber Security Global Alliance.

Syed B. attended McMaster University from 2017 to 2018, where they earned a Data Science degree. In 2017, they also attended The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Toronto Metropolitan University, where they earned a Python degree in Information Technology. From 2015 to 2016, Syed B. attended the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, where they earned a Master of Business Administration - MBA.
