Craig Fleischman

Craig Fleischman is the advisor at BDEX, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to that, they were the Chief Operating Officer at SOFY AI from January 2018 to December 2019. Craig was responsible for strategic planning, business development, product, operations and engineering, as well as direction and guidance for all areas of business. Craig also partnered with the CEO to build out infrastructure for early-stage company and repositioned it to be competitive in the autonomous bot testing market. In addition, they created and executed engineering guidelines and processes, which improved product development output by 30%.

From 2016 to 2017, Craig Fleischman was the Vice President of Technology at Optum. During their time there they created and implemented compliance and security solutions in partnership with CISO for company-wide remediations and strategies building upon HITRUST, HIPAA and NIST Cybersecurity Framework. In addition, they revitalized the private cloud business – enforced budget requirements and on-time deliverables and created long-term strategic plan in partnership with 3rd party vendors. Craig also developed, implemented, and oversaw IT solution design, risk assessment, and architecture strategy including data centers, network, storage, security, compliance, public & private cloud solutions such as AWS and Microsoft Azure. Furthermore, they managed all partnerships including assessment of technology and ongoing ROI with partners. Lastly, they reshaped product vision of private and public cloud strategy for healthcare provider. During their time at Optum they managed a 200-person team, 45% of which were remote at-home workers. Craig was also responsible for Capacity Planning and Strategy for data centers.
