Chief Creative Officer, BDG Studos at BDG

Emily DeSear has over 25 years of experience in the creative industry. Emily currently holds the position of Chief Creative Officer at BDG Studios since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the EVP of Creative Services and Marketing at BDG, overseeing a team of 125+ people and leading various campaigns. From 2019 to 2021, they were the SVP of Creative, where they transformed the video organization and collaborated on successful acquisitions. In 2017 and 2019, they held the roles of VP of Creative and Senior Creative Director Fashion and Beauty for The Foundry@TimeInc, respectively. Before that, they had significant experience at InStyle, Teen Vogue, Condé Nast, GQ Magazine, Maru Leon Design, The Knot, and Condé Nast Mademoiselle Magazine, holding various design and leadership roles.

Emily DeSear attended the Rhode Island School of Design from 1993 to 1995. It is not specified if they obtained a degree or studied a specific field during their time there. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at the School of Visual Arts from 1995 to 1997.
