Troy O'Malley

Troy O'Malley is a highly skilled IT professional with extensive government experience and qualifications in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. With over 30 years of experience as a police officer, O'Malley specialized in electronic evidence and forensic investigation, serving in roles such as Inspector and Forensic Technologies Coordinator. O'Malley provided expert evidence in criminal trials and two Commissions of Inquiry, and has contributed significantly to the field as Chair and co-author of the National Institute of Forensic Science (NIFS) Australasian Guidelines for Digital Imaging Processes. Currently, O'Malley serves as Managing Director (Forensic) at bdna.
