Joel Brown

Joel Brown is an accomplished professional with extensive expertise in indirect taxation, currently serving as a Partner in the Indirect Taxes division at BDO in Australia since March 2013. With a progressive career at BDO, Joel has held several key positions including Director, Senior Manager, Indirect Tax Manager, and Assistant Manager. Prior to BDO, Joel worked as an Area Manager at ALDI Stores from April 2006 to July 2011, where responsibilities included finance, auditing, compliance, and operational management. Joel holds a Master of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Business in Hotel Management from Southern Cross University, in addition to being a qualified Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand since 2016.
