Susan Rix

Susan Rix AM is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and governance across various sectors. Currently serving as Deputy Chancellor and Adjunct Professor at the Queensland University of Technology since June 2015, Susan is also a Council Member and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. In addition, Susan holds director positions at CEnet, UnitingCare Queensland, and Indue, where the role includes Chair of the Audit Committee. A consultant at BDO in Australia since January 1986, Susan specializes in family business and succession planning. Susan's board experience includes a significant tenure as Chair of the AEIOU Foundation for children with autism and a Board Member at the Queensland Performing Arts Trust. Educational credentials include degrees in Financial Administration and Accounting from the University of New England, an Advanced Certificate in Family Business Advising from Florida International University, and a Mediation Certificate from Bond University.
