Thomas Neumann is a partner at BDO Austria GmbH, specializing in tax consulting for social security, wage tax, and labor law. They have contributed to over 150 scientific articles and serve on the editorial team of the Journal of Labor and Social Law. Previously, Thomas held various leadership roles at the Sozialversicherungsanstalt der Gewerblichen Wirtschaft, including Director and Deputy General Director, and participated in numerous social policy reforms. They completed their doctoral studies in law at Universität Wien and are currently a lecturer at Sigmund Freud Privatuniversität, having taught at both the University of Vienna and the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
