Gilbert Seeyave

Gilbert Seeyave is the Responsible Partner for Tax Services and has over 27 years of experience in the firm. He has deep experience in dealing with personal and corporate income tax, value added tax, payroll tax and double taxation avoidance treaties. His corporate clients range from the family-owned businesses to the largest companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius as well as multinational enterprises operating in Mauritius. They are involved in the manufacturing, sugar, construction, distribution, agriculture, shipping, hospitality, banking, insurance, and financial industries.

Gilbert has been involved in cross border transactions, corporate reorganisations and mergers and acquisitions and due diligence assignments. He also advises many individuals including high net worth individuals and those relocating to Mauritius. He has considerable experience in assisting clients during tax audits, negotiations with the Mauritius Revenue Authority and helping clients preparing their case before the courts.
