Michael Brauer

Michael Brauer is currently the Managing Partner of Transaction Tax at BDO Germany and also serves as the Chair of the M&A Tax Services Centre of Excellence at BDO Global. They have extensive experience in tax advisory, having worked as a Partner at Deloitte from 2008 to 2019, a Senior Manager at EY from 2002 to 2007, and a Manager at Arthur Andersen & Co. from 1999 to 2002. Michael earned a Dr rer. pol. in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from the Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt after obtaining a Vordiplom in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from Universität Siegen and a degree in Business Administration and Management from Liverpool John Moores University.
