Bernice Pillay

Bernice Pillay is an experienced accounting professional with a solid background in audit and business services outsourcing. Currently serving as Associate Director at BDO South Africa since 2007, Bernice is responsible for planning audits, managing a team of 15, and compiling proposals for new clients. Prior to this role, Bernice worked as an Audit Senior Manager at BDO and as an Audit Manager at Mazars South Africa from 2004 to 2007, where similar responsibilities included client reporting and trainee assessments. Bernice began the career as a Trainee Accountant at Mazars from 2001 to 2004. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) Honours in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
