Chris Smith

Chris Smith is an accomplished International Tax Director at BDO South Africa, where a career began in February 2010, overseeing taxation services. Previously, Chris served as the Tax Director for Corporate and International Tax from February 2010 to June 2015, leading the international tax division. Chris holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Tax Law/Taxation from the University of Cape Town and has extensive academic credentials, including a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in Taxation, and certification as a Chartered Accountant (SA). Additionally, Chris has served as an External Examiner for the University of Cape Town's Masters in International Tax program.
