Henry Edwards

Henry Edwards is the BDO FS Head of Credit at BDO South Africa since June 2021, also serving as the Owner of Anchor Point Risk (Pty) Ltd, a Fin-tech company focused on risk management solutions since January 2017. Previously, Henry led the Wholesale Model Development team at Standard Bank South Africa from March 2010 to December 2016, where responsibilities included model development, IFRS9 implementation, and rating system management. Prior experience includes a position as Director at IFRM from March 2009 to February 2010, providing credit risk consulting, and a role at Absa from March 2001 to December 2008, focused on Basel II implementation and wholesale credit model development. Henry holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Johannesburg.
