John Martin

John Martin is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Partner at BDO South Africa since February 2020. Prior to this role, John held the position of Partner at KPMG South Africa from September 2002 to February 2020. Earlier in John's career, valuable experience was gained as an Assistant General Manager at the South African Reserve Bank from March 1997 to October 2001. John's academic qualifications include a Master of Business Leadership (MBL) obtained from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika (1991-1994) and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics, Accounting, and Business Economics from the University of South Africa (1981-1986), complemented by foundational education at Glenwood High School in Durban, South Africa (1971-1975).
